Drug intelligence / Profile preview
A combination therapy consisting of TQB3616, abiraterone acetate, and prednisone. TQB3616 is a novel CDK4/6 inhibitor that reduces intracellular protein phosphorylation levels and prevents cells from entering the synthesis phase, thereby inhibiting cell proliferation. Abiraterone acetate is a CYP17A1 inhibitor that blocks androgen biosynthesis, while prednisone serves as a glucocorticoid replacement therapy to manage side effects of abiraterone acetate. This combination is being investigated for the treatment of metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC).
