Overview

TQB3617 is a first-in-class, oral, small molecule inhibitor targeting the bromodomain and extra-terminal (BET) protein family. BET proteins are epigenetic regulators involved in transcriptional control of genes critical for cancer cell growth and survival. By competitively binding to bromodomains with acetylated lysine residues, TQB3617 blocks BET-mediated gene expression, leading to antitumor effects. The drug is being developed primarily for hematologic malignancies such as myelofibrosis and lymphoma. Early clinical studies have shown that it is generally safe, well-tolerated, and demonstrates encouraging efficacy in patients with relapsed or refractory hematologic cancers[1][3][4].
