Overview

TQC3564 is a novel, orally administered small molecule that acts as an antagonist of the prostaglandin D2 receptor (CRTh2). It was developed by Chia Tai Tianqing Pharmaceutical Group for the treatment of allergic diseases such as allergic rhinitis and asthma. The drug has demonstrated safety and tolerability in phase I clinical trials involving healthy subjects, with all adverse events being mild or moderate in severity. TQC3564 works by blocking the CRTh2 receptor, which is implicated in inflammatory responses associated with allergic conditions[1][3][2]. As of late 2024, its development for allergic rhinitis reached phase I clinical trials; however, a trial in this indication was terminated. No recent development has been reported for asthma[3].
