TQC3721 is an investigational small molecule drug developed by Chia Tai Tianqing Pharmaceutical Group for the treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and related respiratory conditions. It is a dual phosphodiesterase 3 and 4 (PDE3/4) inhibitor designed for inhalation. By inhibiting both PDE3 and PDE4, TQC3721 can simultaneously induce bronchial smooth muscle relaxation and exert anti-inflammatory effects in the airways. The drug is currently being evaluated in phase I and II clinical trials for COPD, with additional studies including patients with emphysema, chronic bronchitis, and bronchiectasis[1][2][4][5][7].
