TQH3821 is an oral small molecule inhibitor targeting interleukin-1 receptor-associated kinase 4 (IRAK4). It was developed by Chia Tai Tianqing Pharmaceutical Group for the treatment of moderate-to-severe active rheumatoid arthritis. The drug has undergone phase 1 clinical trials in healthy adults to assess safety, tolerability, and pharmacokinetics both as monotherapy and in combination with methotrexate. Phase 2 studies were initiated to evaluate efficacy and safety in patients with rheumatoid arthritis but have since been terminated[1][2][3][4][8]. IRAK4 inhibitors are designed to modulate inflammatory signaling pathways implicated in autoimmune diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis.
