Trĩ Thiên Dược

Trĩ Thiên Dược is a traditional herbal medicine formulation developed by Hanoi Medical University for the treatment of internal hemorrhoids. It is a hard capsule containing extracts from *Portulaca oleracea* L. (purslane) and *Amaranthus spinosus* L. (spiny amaranth). The drug is specifically indicated for patients with grade II internal hemorrhoids presenting with bleeding. In clinical evaluations, including a Phase III multicenter, randomized, open-label trial, Trĩ Thiên Dược was compared against Diosmin (Daflon) to assess its efficacy and safety. Experimental studies in rat models have also demonstrated its anti-hemorrhoidal activity, likely mediated through anti-inflammatory and hemostatic properties inherent in its botanical components.
