Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Transfer Factor (Jinhua Enterprise) is an immune-modulating biologic derived from healthy porcine spleen extracts, containing a complex mixture of low-molecular-weight polypeptides, amino acids, and polynucleotides. Developed by Jinhua Enterprise (Ginwa), it is designed to enhance and regulate cell-mediated immunity by transferring antigen-specific immune information to T-lymphocytes. It is approved in China as an adjuvant treatment for various conditions characterized by impaired immune response, including viral infections such as herpes zoster, viral encephalitis, and viral myocarditis, as well as persistent fungal infections like candidiasis that are resistant to standard antibiotics. The product is available in oral solution and capsule formulations and is intended to bolster the body's natural defense mechanisms when conventional antimicrobial therapy is insufficient.
