Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Transfer Factor TFI is an immunomodulatory biologic developed by Aumed a.s. It is a dialyzable leukocyte extract (DLE) derived from porcine leukocytes, containing a complex of low-molecular-weight peptides and oligonucleotides. The drug is designed to enhance cell-mediated immunity by transferring antigen-specific sensitivity and non-specifically stimulating the activity of T-lymphocytes and natural killer (NK) cells. It is primarily indicated for the treatment of patients with impaired cellular immunity who suffer from recurrent respiratory, urinary tract, and herpetic infections. By modulating the immune response, Transfer Factor TFI helps the body more effectively combat viral, bacterial, and fungal pathogens.
