Drug intelligence / Profile preview
TransT3-60 is an investigational sublingual formulation of tocotrienols (a form of Vitamin E) being developed by Invictus Ops Pty Ltd (Invictus BioPharma) for the treatment of non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH). The drug utilizes the proprietary TransT3 delivery platform, which is designed to enhance the bioavailability of tocotrienols by enabling absorption through the oral mucosa, thereby bypassing gastrointestinal degradation and first-pass hepatic metabolism. Tocotrienols are hypothesized to exert therapeutic effects in NASH through their potent antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and lipid-lowering properties, including the modulation of HMG-CoA reductase and PPAR signaling pathways.
