Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**Trastuzumab-dendrimer-fluorine conjugate** is an experimental HER2-targeted antibody–dendrimer conjugate in which trastuzumab is covalently linked to fluorinated dendrimers. The trastuzumab component binds human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 on HER2-overexpressing breast cancer cells, while the fluorine-19 component enables MRI-based tracking of delivery, providing a theranostic drug-delivery approach. It has been synthesized and evaluated only in vitro, including three-dimensional HER2-overexpressing breast cancer cell cultures, where it showed potential activity greater than trastuzumab alone; it is not an approved or clinically established medicine.
