Combination regimens are under investigation for HER2-positive metastatic breast and gastric cancers, as well as potentially other HER2-expressing solid tumors. The combination leverages both the targeted cytotoxicity of trastuzumab deruxtecan and the anti-mitotic effect of paclitaxel.
