Drug intelligence / Profile preview
trastuzumab-DOTA-Indium-111 is a radioimmunoconjugate consisting of the humanized anti-HER2 monoclonal antibody trastuzumab conjugated to the chelating agent DOTA and radiolabeled with the gamma-emitting radioisotope Indium-111 (111In). Developed using Covalab's site-specific enzymatic conjugation technology, CovIsoLink™, this agent is designed for the non-invasive detection and monitoring of HER2-positive tumors, such as breast cancer, via single-photon emission computed tomography (SPECT/CT) imaging. By binding specifically to the extracellular domain of HER2, trastuzumab-DOTA-Indium-111 allows for the visualization of HER2 expression levels and biodistribution in vivo, aiding in patient stratification and therapy selection.
