travoprost + brinzolamide

Travoprost + brinzolamide is a fixed-dose combination ophthalmic solution used to lower elevated intraocular pressure in patients with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension. Travoprost is a prostaglandin F2α analog that acts as a selective agonist at the prostaglandin FP receptor, increasing aqueous humor outflow through both the uveoscleral and trabecular meshwork pathways, thereby reducing intraocular pressure[5][6]. Brinzolamide is a carbonic anhydrase II inhibitor that decreases aqueous humor production by inhibiting carbonic anhydrase in the ciliary processes of the eye[2]. The combination provides additive IOP-lowering effects compared to monotherapy. This product was developed by Novartis (previously Alcon) for ophthalmic use in glaucoma and ocular hypertension[4].
