Drug intelligence / Profile preview
iDose TR is a first-of-its-kind, long-duration, anchored intracameral procedural pharmaceutical therapy for the treatment of open-angle glaucoma (OAG) or ocular hypertension (OHT). It consists of a titanium implant reservoir with a membrane controlling the sustained release of travoprost, a prostaglandin analog that increases the flow of aqueous humor out of the eye, thereby decreasing intraocular pressure. The implant is administered intracamerally through a small corneal incision and anchored into the sclera at the iridocorneal angle, providing continuous 24/7 therapeutic levels of travoprost directly inside the eye for extended periods.
