Drug intelligence / Profile preview
TRB-051 is a novel biological therapeutic under development for the treatment of autoimmune and inflammatory diseases. It is designed to modulate regulatory T cells (Tregs) and immune effector cells, aiming to restore immune homeostasis at sites of inflammation. The drug was discovered using TrexBio’s proprietary Deep Biology platform, which maps regulatory T cell behavior in human tissue to identify new immune-regulatory pathways for therapeutic intervention. TRB-051 is being developed through a collaboration between TrexBio and Eli Lilly, with clinical development currently in Phase I trials for autoimmune disorders and inflammation[1][3][4][5]. The precise molecular target or detailed mechanism beyond "regulatory T cell modulation" has not been publicly disclosed as of July 2024.
