Drug intelligence / Profile preview
TRB-ONC1 is a novel, synthetic inhaled formulation of cannabidiol (CBD) being developed by Transpire Bio for the treatment of glioblastoma (GBM). Delivered via inhalation, the therapy leverages Transpire Bio's proprietary inhalation technology platforms to target the central nervous system directly, aiming to minimize systemic adverse effects while delivering therapeutic concentrations to the brain. In October 2025, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) granted Orphan Drug Designation to TRB-ONC1 for the treatment of glioblastoma.
