TRD303

TRD303 is a novel, long-acting, sustained-release formulation of ropivacaine designed for topical application to surgical wound sites. It acts as a sodium channel blocker and is being developed primarily for postoperative analgesia following surgeries such as abdominal surgery and hip replacement. The drug forms a depot at the wound site after application, enabling slow release over up to 72 hours, which aims to provide prolonged pain relief with improved safety compared to traditional short-acting local anesthetics.
