Drug intelligence / Profile preview
TREG-AI-3 is a preclinical-stage tolerogenic immunotherapy being developed by TregTherapeutics for the treatment of systemic autoimmune disease 3. The candidate is built on the company's proprietary TILAC (Tolerance Induction via Linked Adjuvant/Cytokine conjugate) platform, which was exclusively licensed from East Carolina University. TILAC is designed to shift the dendritic cell environment from immunogenic to tolerogenic signaling, thereby promoting the expansion of regulatory T cells (Tregs) to restore immune balance and attenuate disease-associated inflammation. TREG-AI-3 consists of an alum-based adjuvant conjugated with an anti-inflammatory cytokine.
