TREG-Derm-1

TREG-Derm-1 is a preclinical-stage tolerogenic immunotherapy being developed by TregTherapeutics for the treatment of dermatological autoimmune diseases, specifically plaque psoriasis. The drug is built on the company's proprietary TILAC (Tolerance Induction via Linked Adjuvant/Cytokine conjugate) platform, which is designed to restore immune tolerance without causing broad immunosuppression. TREG-Derm-1 consists of an alum-based adjuvant linked to an anti-inflammatory cytokine conjugate. This antigen-agnostic design shifts the dendritic cell environment from immunogenic to tolerogenic signaling, promoting the expansion of regulatory T cells (Tregs) in situ to suppress pathogenic autoimmune cascades. TregTherapeutics is preparing TREG-Derm-1 for nonhuman primate toxicology studies and IND-enabling development, with a Phase 1/2a clinical trial planned.
