TREM2 monoclonal antibody

NovaRock Biotherapeutics is developing a monoclonal antibody targeting the Triggering Receptor Expressed on Myeloid cells 2 (TREM2) for the treatment of solid tumors and hematologic malignancies. TREM2 is a receptor primarily expressed on tumor-associated myeloid cells, such as macrophages and microglia, where it plays a role in suppressing anti-tumor immune responses within the tumor microenvironment. By blocking or modulating TREM2 signaling, this antibody aims to reprogram these myeloid cells to enhance the immune system's ability to identify and destroy cancer cells. The program is currently in the preclinical stage of development, and no specific code name or brand name has been publicly disclosed for the candidate.
