Tremfya One-Press

Tremfya One-Press is a patient-controlled injector delivery system for guselkumab, a human monoclonal antibody developed by Janssen (a Johnson & Johnson company). The drug selectively binds to the p19 subunit of interleukin-23 (IL-23), a cytokine that plays a key role in the pathogenesis of several autoimmune inflammatory diseases. By blocking IL-23, guselkumab inhibits the release of downstream cytokines and chemokines, thereby reducing inflammation. The One-Press injector is designed for subcutaneous self-administration, featuring a design that hides the needle and allows patients to control the speed of the injection. It is FDA-approved for the treatment of adults with moderate to severe plaque psoriasis and active psoriatic arthritis.
