**Tremorine** is a synthetic small molecule primarily used in scientific research to induce parkinsonian-like tremor in animal models. It is not used therapeutically in humans. Tremorine produces marked tremor, rigidity, and parasympathetic stimulation in animals and is leveraged for the development and screening of anti-Parkinsonian drugs because this drug simulates key features of Parkinson’s disease.
