Tresivac

Tresivac is a live attenuated trivalent vaccine developed by the Serum Institute of India for active immunization against measles, mumps, and rubella. It contains the Edmonston-Zagreb strain of the measles virus, the L-Zagreb (Leningrad-3) strain of the mumps virus, and the Wistar RA 27/3 strain of the rubella virus. The vaccine is typically administered to infants and children to provide long-term protection against these three viral diseases. It is supplied as a lyophilized powder that must be reconstituted with a sterile diluent before administration. Clinical studies, including Phase IV trials, have evaluated its safety and immunogenicity when delivered via traditional needle-and-syringe methods as well as alternative delivery systems like disposable-syringe jet injectors.
