trevogrumab + semaglutide

Trevogrumab + semaglutide is a combination drug that presumably pairs trevogrumab, a monoclonal antibody targeting myostatin (also known as GDF8) for muscle disorders, with semaglutide, a glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) receptor agonist indicated for type 2 diabetes, obesity, and cardiovascular and kidney risk reduction. Trevogrumab works by inhibiting myostatin, a negative regulator of muscle growth, while semaglutide enhances insulin secretion, suppresses glucagon, slows gastric emptying, and reduces appetite by selectively activating the GLP-1 receptor.
