Drug intelligence / Profile preview
TRG-100 is an investigational intravesical sustained-release fixed-dose combination of **lidocaine** and **oxybutynin** developed by Trigone Pharma for bladder disorders. The biodegradable polymeric system forms within the urinary bladder after instillation and is intended to prolong local exposure to lidocaine, a voltage-gated sodium-channel blocker that provides local analgesia, and oxybutynin, a muscarinic receptor antagonist that reduces bladder detrusor overactivity. Clinical evaluation has included interstitial cystitis/bladder pain syndrome, overactive bladder, and symptoms associated with retained ureteral stents after endourological interventions.
