TRI-001

TRI-001 is an autologous cell therapy being developed by Trizell, a portfolio company of Ferring Ventures, for the treatment of chronic limb-threatening ischemia (CLTI) and peripheral arterial disease (PAD). The therapy involves the collection and processing of a patient's own progenitor cells, which are then administered via intramuscular injection into the ischemic limb. The primary objective of TRI-001 is to stimulate therapeutic angiogenesis and arteriogenesis, promoting the formation of new blood vessels and improving distal perfusion. This approach is intended to alleviate ischemic pain, promote the healing of chronic ulcers, and prevent limb amputation in patients who have exhausted conventional surgical or endovascular revascularization options.
