Tri Fluvac

Tri Fluvac is a seasonal trivalent inactivated split virion influenza vaccine developed and produced by the Government Pharmaceutical Organization (GPO) in Thailand. It is designed to provide active immunization against three strains of the influenza virus: two Type A strains (H1N1 and H3N2) and one Type B strain. Each 0.5 mL dose typically contains 15 μg of hemagglutinin from each of the three component strains. The vaccine is manufactured using eggs and is chemically inactivated and split to reduce reactogenicity while maintaining immunogenicity. Tri Fluvac was developed as part of Thailand's national health security initiative to ensure a stable domestic supply of influenza vaccines and to provide the manufacturing infrastructure necessary for rapid pandemic response.
