Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Tri Zinidol is a fixed-dose combination medication developed by Zinnia Life Sciences, designed to manage pain and inflammation while minimizing gastrointestinal side effects. It is available in two primary formulations: a tablet containing aceclofenac, paracetamol, and rabeprazole sodium, and a capsule containing sustained-release aceclofenac and enteric-coated rabeprazole sodium. Aceclofenac and paracetamol function as analgesics and anti-inflammatory agents by inhibiting cyclooxygenase (COX-1 and COX-2) enzymes, which reduces the synthesis of pain-inducing prostaglandins. Rabeprazole sodium, a proton pump inhibitor, suppresses gastric acid secretion by covalently inhibiting the gastric H+/K+-ATPase pump, thereby protecting the stomach lining from NSAID-induced irritation and ulceration. Tri Zinidol is approved for the treatment of pain and inflammation associated with musculoskeletal disorders, including osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis.
