Triamdocaine is an investigational, first-in-class topical dry-powder therapy developed by RAM Pharmaceuticals for the treatment and prevention of severe oral mucositis (SOM) in cancer patients undergoing radiation and chemotherapy. Formulated for topical oral delivery, the drug is designed to reduce the incidence and severity of painful oral lesions, commonly referred to as "Cancer Mouth," thereby helping patients maintain their quality of life and adhere to their cancer treatment regimens. Triamdocaine has received FDA Investigational New Drug (IND) approval and is currently in Phase 2 clinical development. The product is part of RAM Pharmaceuticals' Cancer Comfort Care Initiative and is protected by U.S. patents extending through 2039.
