Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**TRIBIK** is an adsorbed, acellular diphtheria-tetanus-pertussis vaccine developed as BK1301. It combines purified *Bordetella pertussis* protective antigens with formalin-detoxified diphtheria and tetanus toxoids, adsorbed onto an aluminum salt, to induce active immunity against pertussis, diphtheria, and tetanus. It is manufactured by BIKEN and marketed in Japan by Tanabe Pharma as a 0.5 mL suspension for subcutaneous injection; it was approved in Japan in 2006 and has been evaluated as an adolescent booster.
