Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Trilakt is a liquid probiotic preparation developed by AO Vector-BiAlgam, containing a concentrated complex of five live antagonistic active strains of lactobacilli, including Lactobacillus acidophilus, Lactobacillus casei, and Lactobacillus plantarum. It is designed to restore and maintain the natural balance of intestinal microflora, particularly in cases of intestinal dysbiosis, and to support the host immune system. The mechanism of action involves the colonization of the intestinal mucosa by beneficial bacteria that produce organic acids (such as lactic acid), hydrogen peroxide, and bacteriocins. these metabolites inhibit the growth of pathogenic and opportunistic microorganisms. Trilakt is often utilized as part of a comprehensive probiotic complex alongside Bifidum BAG and Ecoflor to provide a synergistic effect in treating gastrointestinal disorders and recovering from antibiotic therapy.
