TRIMELVax is a therapeutic cancer vaccine composed of heat shock-conditioned human melanoma cell lysates combined with a natural adjuvant derived from mollusk hemocyanin. This innovative immunotherapy is designed to break immune tolerance and induce a specific, robust anti-tumor immune response, leading to both cellular and humoral immunity against melanoma. In preclinical models, TRIMELVax activates conventional dendritic cells, enhances antigen cross-presentation, and promotes tumor infiltration by CD3^+, CD4^+, and CD8^+ T cells, significantly inhibiting tumor growth and prolonging survival. It is primarily under development for patients with advanced, unresectable melanoma who have failed anti-PD-1 immune checkpoint blockade, aiming to overcome resistance and modulate the tumor microenvironment[1][2][3][4][5][6][7].
