Drug intelligence / Profile preview
TRIO-TRAILBody is a bispecific antibody immunotherapy developed by TRIO Pharmaceuticals using the proprietary TRAILBody™ platform. It utilizes a "naked antibody" approach to selectively induce apoptosis in both tumor cells and immunosuppressor cells by engaging the TRAIL (TNF-related apoptosis-inducing ligand) pathway. This mechanism aims to provide the potency of antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) and CAR-T therapies with reduced toxicity to normal cells. The program is currently in preclinical development for the treatment of Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML), Myelodysplastic Syndromes (MDS), Ovarian Cancer, and Endometrial Cancer.
