Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**Triple Paste** is a marketed over-the-counter topical diaper-rash ointment containing **zinc oxide 12.8%** as its sole active ingredient. It is indicated to treat and prevent diaper dermatitis by forming a protective physical barrier over chafed skin, reducing exposure to wetness and irritants. The original ointment also contains a petrolatum-based vehicle with corn starch, lanolin, beeswax, glycerin, bisabolol, cholesterol, and oat kernel extract; these inactive ingredients support barrier formation and skin soothing. It is currently marketed by Advantice Health. ([dailymed.nlm.nih.gov](https://dailymed.nlm.nih.gov/dailymed/fda/fdaDrugXsl.cfm?setid=d457c58d-8239-41c4-999e-d0ba237e3945))
