Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Trisequens Forte is a continuous sequential hormone replacement therapy (HRT) product containing estradiol and norethisterone acetate. It is used to treat symptoms of estrogen deficiency associated with menopause, such as hot flushes, night sweats, and to prevent osteoporosis in postmenopausal women. The medication delivers higher doses of hormones compared to regular Trisequens, with a 28-day cycle consisting of three different tablet types: 12 days of estrogen-only therapy (yellow tablets), followed by 10 days of combined estrogen/progestagen therapy (white tablets), and 6 days of lower-dose estrogen therapy (red tablets).
