Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Trivivac is a live attenuated combination vaccine designed for the prophylactic immunization against measles, mumps, and rubella. It contains live attenuated strains of the three viruses—measles virus (Rubivirus), mumps virus (Rubulavirus), and rubella virus—formulated to induce immunity by stimulating an immune response that mimics natural infection without causing disease. The vaccine is primarily indicated for use in healthy infants and children to prevent these infectious diseases. Developed originally by Sevapharma, it has been approved in several countries since at least 2010 for routine immunization programs targeting measles, mumps, and rubella[1][6][8].
