Drug intelligence / Profile preview
TRN-004 is an investigational ophthalmic therapeutic being developed by Turn Biotechnologies for the rejuvenation of ocular tissues. It is a tailored protein cocktail produced using the proprietary mRNA-based ERA™ (Epigenetic Reprogramming of Aging) platform. The drug is designed to target multiple cell types in the eye, including corneal, limbal, and conjunctival epithelial cells, as well as corneal endothelial cells. By delivering mRNA that encodes specific reprogramming factors, TRN-004 aims to reduce inflammation, oxidative stress, and cellular senescence. It is currently being developed to treat age-related vision conditions and various eye diseases for which no curative treatments are available.
