Drug intelligence / Profile preview
TRN-010 is an mRNA-based therapeutic candidate developed by Turn Biotechnologies, currently in the preclinical stage for the treatment of immune system diseases and the enhancement of oncology treatments such as CAR-T cell therapy. The drug utilizes Turn's proprietary Epigenetic Reprogramming of Aging (ERA) technology, which involves the delivery of mRNA encoding specific transcription factors to rejuvenate aged or exhausted immune cells. Delivered via the eTurna lipid nanoparticle (LNP) system, TRN-010 has demonstrated the ability to increase T-cell proliferation and cytotoxic activity against cancer cells by up to fivefold in preclinical models, potentially offering improved potency and patient tolerability compared to existing therapies.
