TROCEPT-04

TROCEPT-04 (also known as ATTR-04) is an investigational oncolytic virus therapy being developed by Accession Therapeutics using its proprietary Trocept platform. The Trocept platform is based on a "stealth" adenovirus (typically Adenovirus 5) that has been genetically engineered to evade the immune system and avoid sequestration in the liver, allowing for systemic administration. The virus is retargeted to specific receptors overexpressed on cancer cells, most notably the αvβ6 integrin, to ensure selective infection of tumor tissue. Once inside the tumor, the virus replicates to induce cell lysis and expresses a therapeutic payload designed to modulate the tumor microenvironment and stimulate a potent anti-cancer immune response. While the specific payload for the TROCEPT-04 program has not been publicly disclosed, it follows the platform's design of combining direct viral oncolysis with localized immunotherapy for the treatment of various solid tumors.
