TROCEPT 2

TROCEPT 2 (also known as TROCEPT-02 or ATTR-02) is an investigational oncolytic virus and gene therapy candidate developed by Accession Therapeutics. Built on the company's proprietary TROCEPT platform, the therapy utilizes a genetically engineered viral vector designed to selectively target cancer cells expressing \u03b1v\u03b26 integrin while sparing healthy tissues. Upon intravenous administration, the virus infects tumor cells and drives the localized, de novo expression of a transgene encoding a proprietary universal bispecific T-cell engager (BiTE). This payload facilitates MHC-independent synapse formation between cytotoxic T cells and tumor cells, promoting localized immune activation and tumor cell lysis. TROCEPT 2 is currently in preclinical and IND-enabling development for the treatment of various solid tumors, including breast, cervical, colorectal, gastric, head and neck, lung, oral, ovarian, and pancreatic cancers.
