TROCEPT one

TROCEPT one (ATTR-01) is a first-in-class, tumor-activated oncolytic viral immunotherapy developed by Accession Therapeutics. Administered intravenously, the therapy utilizes a detargeted and retargeted adenovirus platform designed to selectively target cancer cells by binding to αvβ6 integrin, which is highly expressed on epithelial tumors. Upon entering and replicating within the cancer cells, TROCEPT one delivers a genetically encoded transgene that causes the infected cancer cells to locally produce and secrete a clinically validated anti-PD-L1 immune checkpoint inhibitor. This localized production enhances the therapeutic concentration of the checkpoint inhibitor within the tumor microenvironment while minimizing systemic exposure and off-target immune-related adverse events. TROCEPT one is currently in Phase 1 clinical development for the treatment of advanced solid tumors and carcinomas.
