TROP2 ADC refers to a class of antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) that specifically target the Trophoblast cell surface antigen 2 (TROP2) protein, which is frequently overexpressed in various solid tumors. These drugs consist of an antibody that binds to TROP2, linked to a cytotoxic payload. Upon binding to TROP2-expressing cancer cells, the ADC is internalized, and the payload is released, leading to cell death. This targeted approach aims to deliver potent chemotherapy directly to cancer cells while minimizing systemic toxicity. TROP2 ADCs are being investigated for the treatment of a range of advanced and metastatic cancers, including breast cancer, lung cancer, and ovarian cancer.
