Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Tropocells is an autologous platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) product derived from a patient's own blood. It is designed for wound care, specifically for conditions such as diabetic foot ulcers. The product is prepared as a gel clot from the patient's blood and applied topically to the wound bed. Its therapeutic action is based on the release of a concentrated array of growth factors and cytokines from the platelets and fibrin matrix, which collectively stimulate tissue regeneration, angiogenesis, and cellular proliferation to promote wound healing.
