troxerutin + low molecular weight heparin

Troxerutin + low molecular weight heparin is a combination drug consisting of troxerutin, a flavonoid with vasoprotective and anti-inflammatory properties, and low molecular weight heparin (LMWH), an anticoagulant derived from unfractionated heparin. Troxerutin is primarily used for the treatment of chronic venous insufficiency due to its ability to improve microcirculation and reduce capillary permeability[1]. LMWH acts by enhancing the activity of antithrombin III, leading to inhibition of coagulation factors—primarily factor Xa and, to a lesser extent, thrombin (factor IIa)—thereby preventing clot formation[8][10]. The combination may be used in clinical settings where both vascular protection and anticoagulation are desired, such as in the management or prevention of venous thromboembolism or chronic venous disorders.
