Drug intelligence / Profile preview
TRP2-P2 agonist dendritic cell vaccine is a novel C5a agonist-based dendritic cell vaccine developed for the treatment of melanoma. It is constructed by covalently linking a response-selective peptide agonist of C5a (YSFKDMP(MeL)aR) to the known melanoma tumor-related antigen TRP2-P2. This vaccine aims to improve the targeting and presentation of poorly immunogenic tumor-related antigens, thereby enhancing the immune response against melanoma cells. It has been investigated in a murine model, where it showed reduced tumor growth and enhanced survival in mice immunized with the vaccine.
