Drug intelligence / Profile preview
TRS005 is a novel antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) developed by Zhejiang Teruisi Pharmaceutical for the treatment of CD20-positive non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL). It consists of a monoclonal antibody targeting CD20 conjugated to the potent antimitotic agent monomethyl auristatin E (MMAE). Upon binding to CD20 on the surface of tumor cells, the ADC is internalized via receptor-mediated endocytosis, where MMAE is released to inhibit tubulin polymerization, leading to cell cycle arrest and apoptosis. TRS005 is currently being evaluated in Phase 2 clinical trials as a monotherapy for relapsed or refractory diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) and in combination with chemotherapy (T-CHP regimen) for first-line treatment of DLBCL. In March 2024, it received Breakthrough Therapy designation from China's National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) for relapsed or refractory CD20-positive DLBCL.
