TRU-016 + obinutuzumab is a combination of two monoclonal antibodies under investigation for the treatment of B-cell malignancies. It is approved for use in chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) and follicular lymphoma, often in combination with other agents[1][3][5]. TRU-016 is an investigational anti-CD37 monoclonal antibody designed to target CD37 on B cells, promoting cell death via immune-mediated mechanisms. The rationale for combining these agents lies in their complementary targeting of distinct B-cell surface antigens (CD20 and CD37), potentially enhancing therapeutic efficacy against malignant B cells.
