TRX-211 is a preclinical-stage small molecule tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI) being developed by Therapex for the treatment of EGFR-positive non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). As a targeted therapy, it is designed to inhibit the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) signaling pathway, which is a primary driver of tumor growth and survival in a subset of lung cancer patients. TRX-211 is part of Therapex's broader oncology pipeline, which includes the lead candidate TRX-221, a fourth-generation EGFR TKI. While TRX-221 is specifically optimized to overcome the C797S resistance mutation, TRX-211 serves as a complementary asset in the company's strategy to address various EGFR-mutant resistance profiles in NSCLC.
