TRX501

TRX501 is an experimental in-vivo cell therapy being developed by Tr1X. Unlike traditional ex-vivo cell therapies where cells are harvested and modified outside the body, TRX501 is designed to induce or deliver Type 1 regulatory T (Tr1) cells directly within the patient to promote immune regulation and tolerance. Tr1 cells are a specialized subset of CD4+ T cells that lack the FOXP3 transcription factor but produce high levels of the immunosuppressive cytokine interleukin-10 (IL-10). By promoting the activity or presence of these cells in-vivo, TRX501 aims to treat autoimmune or inflammatory conditions by restoring immune homeostasis. The program is currently in the research phase, and the specific primary indications and molecular targets remain undisclosed.
