Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Tryptomag is an oral dietary supplement developed and manufactured by Laboratoires Teriak. It is formulated as a combination of magnesium bisglycinate, L-tryptophan, valerian root extract, and pyridoxal-5-phosphate (Vitamin B6). Tryptomag is indicated for adults and adolescents aged 12 and older to help manage chronic or temporary stress, anxiety, nervousness, irritability, and sleep disorders (such as difficulty falling asleep and night awakenings). The synergistic action of its ingredients supports the nervous system: magnesium bisglycinate provides highly absorbable magnesium to reduce fatigue and promote muscle and mental relaxation; L-tryptophan serves as a precursor to serotonin and melatonin to regulate mood and sleep; valerian root extract offers traditional calming properties to ease nervous tension; and Vitamin B6 (as active pyridoxal-5-phosphate) enhances cellular magnesium absorption and aids neurotransmitter synthesis.
